Tai Chi Chuan is often called "Moving Meditation". Practicing Yang-Style Tai Chi Chuan leads to better
health and fitness - especially, if you follow the guidelines. The
meditative,
slowly flowing whole-body-motions resemble a mighty river, that never
stands still.
Very few parts are performed quickly, whereas most parts are extremely
slow. This is a very impressive contrast. While doing the quick movement
your mind, body and breath are focused into one complete whole, so the
martial origin and the meditative component can clearly be felt..
