Eastern Holistic Meditation

Eastern meditation exercises can be divided roughly in sitting meditation, standing meditation and moving meditation. Breathing plays an important role. Traditionally it is regarded as a life long journey towards real life. The student strives to develop himself by overcoming his Ego, his fears and deficiencies. He then can become a good and content human being.

This traditional perspective should also be kept in mind, if meditation is "only" orientated towards goals of health, fitness and well being.

By meditation on a regular basis Body, Mind and Breath  can be fused holistically into one and the vital life energy Qi can flow easily through the whole body.

In  Eastern philosophy  meditation is based on posture. Posture has an outward and an inward aspect. Ideally these work together to form an integrated whole. Good Posture enhances the relationship between Yourself and the World! Poor posture is a frequent cause of severe health problems, whereas good posture, on the other hand, can have influence on self-esteem, bone density, longevity, lean body, shaping, high metabolism and many others.
